About the Author

Australian Chef Lisa Mead has been cooking in restaurants, private estates, and luxury yachts throughout Australia, the Mediterranean, and the Caribbean for the past twenty-six years, making the British Virgin Islands her home base. For the past seven years, she has hosted her own televised cooking show, Galley Gourmet With Chef Lisa, filmed on location in the British Virgin Islands. When Lisa is not cooking, she is off traveling the world on cycling tours, giving her a real glimpse into the daily lives of the country she is visiting. She combines her knowledge spent traveling and working to produce what she calls “Global Cuisine.” Lisa says she is incredibly lucky to have found her passion in cooking and truly believes that the joy of cooking is continuing to learn and grow as a chef.
