Different but Special tells the unique journey of Nicholas and his loving family.
Nicholas was diagnosed on the autism spectrum. He likes to be alone; he loves cars and books, and he prefers them in a particular way and a specific order. Nicholas also has the most infectious laughter and the brightest smile.
But Nicholas’s big brother sometimes gets frustrated because communication with Nicholas can be hard. In their family, there are times of chaos and meltdowns, tears and laughter, sadness and happiness. But together Nicholas’s family finds ways through these moments with their love for one another—and end up all the stronger.
