Suzie and the Icky, Yucky, Smelly Quest for a Kitten

by Jacqui Maxwell

Suzie knows exactly what she wants when it’s time to create her birthday wish list: a kitten! Suzie wants to be able to cuddle and love her very own, instead of having to follow around stray cats! But her parents remind Suzie that pets are a huge responsibility, and they make her a deal: If she takes out the disgusting trash until her birthday arrives, she’ll get her first pet. Let the countdown begin!
