Sylvester Lou Goes Beyond the Mountain: A Linx Land Adventure

Keisha Reynolds

Sylvester Lou is not like anyone you have ever met.

Sylvester Lou has large eyes, floppy ears, and a beak. Sylvester was born in Linx Land, where the same this or the same that is celebrated. Being different is not respected at all. But differences are one of the things that makes Sylvester wonder about the Linx’s arch enemy—the savage beasts, humans. They live nearby, but humans are separated by a mountain and a river that Linx are forbidden to cross. What is the world of man really like? Sylvester lets curiosity get the better of him, and he decides to explore. His adventure will be a game-changer for all of Linx Land, and their lives will never be the same again.
