The Constitution Kids
Alex, Kali, and Roman are three fifteen-year-old friends from a small town. Each has their own unique talents. Alex is a great communicator, Roman is a bit of an inventor, and Kali is an intuitive empath. It’s summer vacation, and one day, the trio find themselves in the middle of a book-banning protest outside the local library. The protest involves people proclaiming what they believe to be their Constitutional rights, causing the group to realize how little they know about the crucial document.
Alex, Kali, and Roman begin their quest for answers, and in the process, they discover a magical book that helps them learn what the Constitution is truly about.
Join the trio on their adventure as the magical book enables them to travel through time and space—bringing to life historical figures like Ben Franklin, Alice Paul, Wyatt Earp, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and many more. Each historical figure teaches the group about the origins of the Constitution and its amendments. Through the teenagers’ eyes, you’ll explore what it was like when the original Constitution was signed, and you’ll even travel to other countries, like Russia, where you’ll meet Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn, a protestor from the Soviet Union.
The Constitution Kids brings the US Constitution to life with unusual experiences, humor, and fun, perfect for readers of all ages.
